Immigration from India to Canada |
My main objective to seek Immigration is
earning good money and enjoy a good quality
of life. Why I should not simply go for Work
permit and make money. Why should I
permanently Immigrate?
You must understand that a Work Permit
is a temporary permission for a particular
period granted for a particular country. Most of these permits/visas are coming with
certain attached limitations, which should be of concern to you.
In most of these Visas your spouse is
not permitted to work in the country in which
you have been granted to work visa. You are not entitled to avail of
various social security benefits available to
Permanent Resident and Citizens such as Free Medical, Children's Education at subsidized
fees, unemployment Allowance and so on.
Under the circumstances the best thing to do is that you should apply for Immigration while you are looking for an overseas job and/or if you already have an Overseas Assignment in
hand. Thus, by the time your work Visa/Permit comes to an end, your immigration
process will be over and as such you can immediately move to Canada as a permanent
Resident.
If you have an Overseas Recruitment Opportunity, while waiting for immigration
process, it will also be help you in saving crucial foreign exchange required towards
meeting the costs of Immigration and other relevant settlement costs involved.

What role do provincial Governments have in the
entrepreneurial immigrations process?
The provinces role is primarily one of guidance and counselling for
applicants who are considering setting up businesses within their borders. It is in
your best interest as a prospective business immigrant to be aware of the particular

in setting up businesses to meet those needs.
With the exception of the Province of Quebec, provincial officials are not directly

for approving or refusing the applications of persons not destined to live in Quebec lies
exclusively in the hands of visa officers representing the federal government.
